Our team has one focus-- creating a safe space to heal through, and navigate, life’s transitions.
Sara puts clients at ease by creating a safe, judgment-free space. As a clinician, she uses a strengths-based perspective, which puts the strengths and resources of people, communities, and their environments, rather than their problems, at the center of the helping process. She believes that, with support, each of her clients can heal themselves in counseling by learning self-awareness and effective coping skills.
A note from Sara:
"Over 15 years, I have worked in everything from schools to hospice care. The people I have worked with have shown me the power of their resilience at all stages of life. I believe that we need support from others in order to experience life in the fullest, most satisfying way. Laughter and humor are an essential part of healing-- who trusts a person who can’t laugh? As a clinician, I value respect, honesty, and trust. I have a non-judgmental and caring approach, while still holding my clients accountable to their goals. In the end, I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I serve."
